Parties that we hold:

Ladies Night Out

We here at THS want to offer our services to groups of ladies that are celebrating a special event, wanting to have a "get together" or just look forward to getting pampered. We offer a ladies night out package.  This includes a wash and blow dry, manicure and a light snack form a local restaurant.  Book your party of three or more and we will be happy to close the salon down to outside guests so you ladies can have the salon all to your selves.

Braiding lessons

Braiding is making a comeback into the fashion world and I want to show you how to jump on that trendy train.  We will host braiding lessons for mommy and me groups or girlfriends.  Sorry we can not show you how to braid on your self, you will need to bring in a partner.  Come in for a one hour session and we can show you how to french braid, reverse french braid, head band, fish tail, five strand or water fall braid.  By having your partner there to work on the practice will seem easier.  Its a great way to spend time with your loved one or friends.  So get a few ladies together and book a lesson.

Owner, Natalie has spent the last fourteen years in the industry, building her professional and business portfolio in order to achieve her dream of becoming a salon owner. With friendly staff and a welcoming environment, THS is your go to place for the whole family. Everyone is welcome.

People often ask me some of the reasons I wanted to become a salon business owner.  One of the reason is so that I can educate my clients how to do their hair better.  If you ask around here what my favorite service to do is, you will always hear- wash and blow dry.  If I can turn you negitive attitude around about dreading to blow dry your hair, then I will do so.  Book a one on one with us and we will give you personal tips and tricks on how to blow dry your hair faster, with less efforts and how to achieve the desired results you are looking for.  When you come into THS we will start by figuring out what you are looking for.  Once established we will shampoo your hair and give you a nice scalp massage before all your hard work begins.  We will go over what products to use and why and of course how to apply them.  You will understand the benefits of fluff drying, sectioning your hair what brushes to use and where t start.  In the end you will be able to finish your hair better then ever before and  hopfully your arms will not fell like they are going to fall off.

Owner & Founder: Natalie

“When I first started in this industry I never thought I would have the confidence to tell a paying client what may or may not look good on them. It is such an accomplishment to have come all this way and to be able to use my expertise as advice when I consult with clients. It is a great feeling. I love working in the beauty industry.”

THS The Hair Salon is my new baby! I love being a salon owner. I have been building my craft by working in mall type salons, private locations, travelling, reading motivation books and receiving a great deal of education and training over the years. Being in the beauty industry was my calling from a very young age. It never mattered what my Barbie dolls were wearing, just as long as their hair was done.

My career has taken me to Las Vegas, New York City, Los Angeles, and closer to home with time spent in Toronto and Montreal. I have had the chance to work with many product lines over the last decade. I have chosen to be a P&G professional concept salon. This means that I carry Wella, Sebastian and Nioxin for my retail line; and Wella Koleston Perfect, Colour Touch, and Illumina for my colour line. A few years ago, I encountered a sassy nail polish line called Cheeky Monkey. Eager to support Canadian retailers I jumped at the chance to bring their products on board.

My favourite service that I offer in The Hair Salon is a wash and blow dry.  If you ask around, my clients will agree to this statement. I love to see curly hair straight and straight hair with some added body to change up the style. If I can give you a double identity hair cut so that you have more than one option on how to finish your hair, then I have achieved happiness. I enjoy capturing the styles that I create, so please check out my hair styling portfolio gallery for my past work.

When I am not working, you can find me playing hockey in both summer and winter and/or fulfilling my passion for running. Remaining physically active is a priority for keeping my body healthy. I love being a hair stylist. I love meeting new clients and I love having my own business.

Stylist: Brittany

From a young age I always had a strong interest in hair, I was always changing my colour and style and continue to do so. I love the power that a new hairstyle can give you whether it is to make you feel rejuvenated or to add some sass’. After high school, I attended university to study psychology and after two years I realized it just wasn't the lifestyle for me. I wanted something with a sense of freedom and creativity, so I embraced the inner stylist in myself. I have been in the industry for three years now and have never looked back.

As a stylist, I use my background and interest in psychology to connect with my clients and to understand their needs and desire for their hair. I have a strong interest in editorial and avant-garde work. When I have the chance to incorporate these ideas into my everyday work, it keeps my passion and creativity alive. Come on by and let yourself be transformed! See my services and prices that I offer on our services page.
